Position : Social Media Manager & Podcast Producer

Working Schedule : 8a-5p PST

Salary Range :$1800-$2200 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

 

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Social Media Manager & Podcast Producer to oversee the social media presence for multiple brands, including personal brands, a podcast, and potential client accounts.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies, crafting compelling textual content, and editing visual assets to ensure they are optimized and ready for various platforms. While you will not be the public face of these accounts, your creativity and strategic input will be crucial to their success.

A key part of your responsibilities will also be to manage community engagement, including monitoring and responding to comments and messages to foster a positive and interactive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.
• Create, curate, and schedule compelling content (text, images, and video) across various social platforms like Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Monitor social channels for relevant trends, brand mentions, and new opportunities for engagement.
• Actively engage with the community , responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyze social media data and metrics to refine strategies and report on performance to stakeholders.

Podcast Production

• Manage all stages of podcast production , from initial planning to final distribution.
• Coordinate with hosts and guests , which includes scheduling interviews and providing any necessary technical support.
• Record and edit audio to ensure high-quality sound and a seamless listening experience.
• Write and edit compelling episode descriptions and detailed show notes.
• Upload and distribute episodes to all major podcast platforms, such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts.
• Strategically promote new episodes on social media and other digital channels to maximize reach and listenership.

Qualifications

• Proven 3+Â years of experience in a social media management role, with a strong understanding of various platforms and analytics.
• 1+ years of experience using Notion and Asana 
• Experience with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Descript, GarageBand).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with AI tools to edit and publish videos
• Must be a Go-Getter and act in a proactive manner with the ability to lead.
