What You'll Do As a Senior CPA:

• Lead & review complex individual and business tax returns, with approximately one-third of returns being business-related.
• Manage & mentor office staff with the potential to grow your team as the firm expands.
• Provide proactive tax planning and financial consulting to help clients achieve strategic business and personal goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and evolving accounting standards.
• Recommend process improvements by evaluating new technologies and exploring how AI can streamline accounting tasks.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, support decision-making, and ensure accuracy.
• Work a full-time hybrid schedule: 2 days in-office and 3 days remote.

Our Ideal Senior CPA:

• Experienced: Brings 5+ years of tax preparation experience and at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Must have a current CPA license and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Client-focused: Has a strong background working with small business clients and a proven ability to provide consultative, strategic tax guidance.
• Relational: Communicates, builds strong client relationships, and fosters collaboration within the team.
• Organized: Highly detail-oriented and able to stay calm and focused under pressure while managing complex tasks and timelines.
• Tech-savvy: Proficient in QuickBooks Online and tax software; eager to research and integrate AI-driven tools into accounting workflows.
