JOB TITLE: Resident Assistant

WORKER CATEGORY: Both Part and Full Time

RESIDENT ASSISTANT SHIFT & SCHEDULE:

• 1st Shift 6:30AM - 3:00PM, including every other weekend
• 2nd Shift 2:30PM - 11:00PM, including every other weekend
• 3rd Shift 10:30PM - 7:00AM, including every other weekend

RESIDENT ASSISTANT BASE WAGE: Up to $20.50 per hour

• $16.00/hour for 1st shift
• $3.00/hour PM Shift Differential
• $2.00/hour NOC Shift Differential
• $1.50/hour Weekend Shift Differentials

RESIDENT ASSISTANT ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resident Assistant will perform and document resident cares and services according to ISP (Plan of Care) per policies
• Report changes of conditions and variations of resident care to DON (Director of Nursing)
• Resident Assistant should respond promptly to all emergency response calls and take appropriate action
• Facilitate activities as required
• Serve meals/feed residents during mealtimes as required
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties as necessary
• Fill in for open shifts as necessary
• Resident Assistant will perform and document vital sign monitoring per ISP (Plan of Care)
• Answer and respond to all resident calls/alarms
• Resident Assistant will perform and document medication reminders or management per resident ISP (Plan of Care) and current training and delegations (Oral, Nasal, Topical, Transdermal, Ophthalmic, Vaginal, Rectal, Subcutaneous, etc.)
