Job Description
As a Google Looker Data Studio Expert, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually appealing and insightful dashboards, connecting multiple data sources, and ensuring an exceptional user experience with advanced features, charts, and drill down capabilities. Your expertise in Looker and Data Studio will empower us to make data-driven decisions and gain valuable insights into our business performance.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Google Looker and Data Studio.
● Connect multiple data sources, including Google Sheets with multiple worksheets, to ensure seamless data integration and accuracy.
● Collaborate with operations and stakeholders to understand our data requirements and design dashboards that effectively address our needs.
● Implement advanced features, such as filters, parameters, and custom calculations, to enhance the interactivity and flexibility of dashboards.
● Optimize dashboard performance by fine-tuning queries, managing data caching, and applying best practices for data modeling and visualization.
● Create compelling visualizations and charts that present data in a meaningful and intuitive manner, facilitating data exploration and analysis.
● Incorporate drill down functionality to allow users to navigate through data hierarchies and obtain detailed insights.
● Schedule and automate the distribution of dashboards to operations, ensuring timely delivery of relevant information.
● Stay updated with the latest features and enhancements in Google Looker and Data Studio, and proactively suggest improvements to optimize the reporting process.
● Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure data integrity, data governance, and compliance with privacy regulations.
● Provide training and support to operations and end-users, empowering them to effectively use and interpret the dashboards.
Requirements:
● Proven experience as a Google Looker Data Studio Expert or similar role, with a strong focus on data visualization and reporting.
● Proficiency in creating and managing dashboards using Google Looker and Data Studio.
● Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data visualization best practices.
● Experience connecting and integrating multiple data sources, especially Google Sheets with multiple worksheets.
● Strong knowledge of advanced features, custom calculations, and interactivity options in Looker and Data Studio.
● Ability to design visually appealing and intuitive dashboards that provide actionable insights.
● Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security considerations in a reporting environment.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful visualizations.
● Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with operations and stakeholders.
● Self-motivated and able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
