Job Description

Our client provides outsourced CFO and financial consulting services in the funds space and is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their growing team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books and records for investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of cash, positions, and valuations.
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
• Support audit and tax processes by coordinating with external service providers.
• Collaborate with CFO consultants to deliver timely and accurate reporting to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• 3–6 years of fund accounting experience
• Strong understanding of investment fund structures and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with fund accounting systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
