Data Analyst | Midvale, UT (Remote Preferred)

Nexeo is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in data mining, troubleshooting, and integrating disparate data sources into unified, reliable datasets. This role plays a critical part in uncovering insights from fragmented systems and ensuring data consistency across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate brings deep database knowledge, advanced SQL skills, and hands-on ETL experience to design and maintain data pipelines that support business intelligence, compliance, and operational reporting. Familiarity with financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL workflows to consolidate data from multiple disparate sources

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines for scalability and performance

• Ensure data models support accuracy, governance, and regulatory compliance

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts

• Tune queries for performance across relational and distributed databases

• Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau

• Support ad-hoc analysis requests for business teams and regulatory audits

• Reconcile and validate data to ensure consistency across systems

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SQL

• Strong understanding of relational database design

• Hands-on experience with ETL design, implementation, and troubleshooting

• Proven ability to integrate and reconcile data across multiple systems

• Experience working with data governance and compliance in regulated environments

• Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau)

Specific Requirements

• Mandatory ETL experience (designing, implementing, and troubleshooting workflows)

• Ability to work remotely with preference for candidates located in or near Midvale, Utah

• Experience supporting compliance and regulatory reporting

• Familiarity with financial systems is a plus

Pay Rate

$45.00 per hour

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
