Asheville Cottages is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our team. We are a luxury vacation rental company located in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. As a Data Analyst Intern at Asheville Cottages, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our management team and gain valuable hands-on experience in the vacation rental industry. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to help us make data-driven decisions and improve our overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources including our booking software, customer surveys, and website analytics.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will help guide our business strategy.
• Create reports and visualizations to present findings to the management team.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve business processes and customer experiences.
• Continuously monitor and track data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to optimize business operations.
• Assist with ad-hoc data analysis projects and other tasks as needed.

  Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, or Tableau.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for using data to drive business decisions.
