Senior Helpers Miami-Dade is currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and/or Home Health Aides (HHA) Caregivers to work in their Miami Lakes office. Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a vehicle, driver’s license and auto insurance
• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Florida. A CNA prep course is not a substitute for the Home Health Aide training. A CNA prep course must meet the Home Health Aide training requirements per state regulation.
• Must provide a Home Health Aide (HHA) training certificate of at least seventy (75) hours or must complete and pass the AHCA competency exam (including written and practical portions).

• The performance of all personal care activities contained in a written assignment, which include assisting the senior with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment, which may include light cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, straightening the sleeping and living areas, washing the senior's dishes or laundry, and such tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the senior.
• Providing nutritional support, as needed.
• Reporting changes in the senior’s condition.
• Other activities as taught by a licensed health professional working for the home health agency for a specific senior.
• Assisting seniors with medications.
• Transporting seniors to doctor’s appointments, shopping or family events.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
